This is a regular friendly meeting for those who enjoy recycling pre-loved books and getting together. We normally gather about two times a year.

On Saturday 30th November, the church opened for viewing decorative bells made by Mere’s many community groups. This was a unique opportunity to join Jane and Richard, Mere’s own Writer in Residence and Composer in Residence as they share their insights into their creative processes, professional careers and answer your questions. 7.00pm to 9.00 pm – It was a free event with mulled wine and mince pies.

This year’s Annual General Meeting will be on Wednesday 2nd October at 5.00pm in St Michael’s Church.

This was the first Tower Story Event. It celebrated the completion of the restoration of the pinnacles and re-guilding of the clock. Over 300 people brought picnics and listened to the Shrewton Silver Band who started off by playing popular favourites and after a break played music associated with the Last Night of the Proms. … Read more

The Friends of St. Michael’s, together with the Gardening Club, organised the Hidden Gardens of Mere over the weekend of 15th/16th June.
