The Friends of St. Michael’s, together with the Gardening Club, organised the Hidden Gardens of Mere over the weekend of 15th/16th June. The event proved very enjoyable, and brought many visitors into the town.
Refreshments were available at the Church on Saturday and in the Grove Building on Sunday and the Angel Tea Rooms were open for light meals and refreshments.
Nineteen gardens were involved. Tickets were £6 per person with under 16s free.
