On Saturday 30th November, the church opened for viewing decorative bells made by Mere’s many community groups. During the day there was a demonstration of handbell ringing, there was a peal of the bells in the tower and the opportunity to have a go at chiming the bells.
The theme of the 10.30am service on Sunday 1st December was ‘Bells’.
