The Friends of St. Michael’s had great pleasure in welcoming David Perkins and Caroline Dooley, who have local ties to Mere, having visited and loved it for several years. Accompanied by a young group of singers and a professional String Quartet, the programme brought us a moving and uplifting combination of original music, choir and poetry resonating with the times we live in. Many joined us for this heartwarming event, with wine and hot drinks served in the interval, in support of the Pinnacles Appeal.
